The doctors at Berkeley Heights Chiropractic Center specialize in Applied Kinesiology (AK) evaluating the structural, chemical and psychological aspects of a person. Dr. Edward M. Burstein, Clinic Director and Founder, is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College and has pursued master's degree studies in nutrition. He is a teaching Diplomate of the International Board of Applied Kinesiology as well as a certified Ayurvedic physician. Dr. Burstein is a former team physician at Madison Square Garden. Nationally known for his research in immunological disorders and chiropractic, Dr. Burstein has appeared on television, lectured at various universities and local hospitals, and presented classes and workshops for international conferences of alternative health care practitioners. Dr. Burstein has been featured in numerous media health forums, both nationally and in New Jersey for his innovative holistic approach to total health.
Dr. Robert Dorn graduated from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia where he received certificates in the Thompson Technique and the Sacro-occipital Technique. Dr. Dorn also received certifications in Applied Kinesiology, Physiological Therapeutics, and Clinical Sciences. He practiced for 10 years in Nevada and held the office of Vice-President of the Nevada Chiropractic Association for 4 years. Dr. Dorn has been practicing as a chiropractor, applied kinesiologist, and holistic physician for 14 years.
Dr. Carolyn Ilnicki is a graduate of the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois with additional training in physical medicine and rehabilitation. She has received certifications in McKenzie and Acupuncture. Dr. Ilnicki was on the Board of Directors for Illinois Chiropractic Society and a Board of Trustee Member for the National College of Chiropractic in Illinois. She has been practicing chiropractic for 19 years with 14 years in private family practice in Chicago, Illinois.
